California State University, Fresno is home to several water-related organizations with various missions:
  International Center for Water Technology (ICWT):
  The ICWT is dedicated to the development and promotion of new technologies that maximize the effectiveness of water use for commercial, municipal and agricultural applications.
  Center for Irrigation Technology (CIT)
  In a unique position as an independent research and testing facility, CIT plays a vital role in assisting designers, manufacturers and users of irrigation equipment to make the technological advances required for our growing, changing world.
  California Irrigation & Flow Technologies (CALIFT):
  CALIFT is a multi-year collaborative program designed to promote water flow technologies through increased export sales from San Joaquin Valley manufacturers to customers in Mexico, Argentina, Chile and Brazil.
  An educational and irrigation scheduling resource for water managers.
  Central Valley Water Education Center (CVWEC):
  The CVWEC is an organization dedicated to educating the public about water and fostering cooperation among all water users in the central San Joaquin Valley.
  San Joaquin Valley Water Cluster
  A coalition of manufacturers of water flow technology in the San Joaquin Valley.
  Ag Pumping  Efficiency Program:
  Maintaining and improving pumping plant performance and reducing overall pumping energy use in the agricultural sector through education and technical assistance.  Available to agricultural accounts within the Pacific Gas & Electric Company, Southern California Edison, Southern California Gas Company, and San Diego Gas & Electric service areas (primary SIC code of 01) with water pumping for irrigation as the primary end-use.
